The BOSS Business Supplies Charity last week celebrated and thanked its Patrons at a sparkling Patrons’ Dinner at Stationers’ Hall in London. With over 100 Patrons and guests in attendance, the Charity reported on a successful year in 2023 and thanked its growing ranks of Patrons and supporters who had made it happen.
Highlight of the evening was guest speaker, comedian Jo Caulfield, who entertained and impressed the audience with her obvious love of paper stationery – and relish for searching the websites and product ranges of her audience!
BOSS Charity Chair Martin Wilde commented, “Our annual Patrons’ Dinner is fast becoming one of the highlights of our year, and we were especially grateful that so many could join us last Thursday night to thank our Patrons and supporters for all of their help. Recent events in the industry – against a backdrop of rising living costs – mean that we have more people than ever asking for our help, so we are doubly grateful that so many in our industry are so supportive of the BOSS Charity’s work. I particularly want to thank Premier Paper, Lyreco UK, OPI and Phil Jones MBE for making the event possible, as well as our team of Trustees for their hard work in organising another brilliant event.”
At the dinner, Wilde also announced that next year’s event would be particularly special, since 2025 was the Charity’s Centenary. Accordingly, the BOSS Charity’s Centenary Patron’s Dinner will be held at King’s College, Cambridge on 26th March 2025. Further details are available here.
