About us


The Charity operates through a board of volunteer Trustees, who meet several times a year and also undertake projects and attend events on behalf of the Charity. Our current Trustees are listed below:
Kelly Hilleard

After taking a career break to raise four children, Kelly returned to work in 2011. Following a successful stint managing a large portfolio of schools for a UK firm specialising in catering for the education sector, Kelly joined OPI as the company's finance manager. Four years on, that role has expanded to cover HR, H&S and Operations.

Kelly was appointed Vice Chair of the Charity in January 2022.

Philip Wes

Philip started in the Business Supplies industry with John Dickinson Stationery in 2005. and is currently Managing Director of Staedtler (UK) Limited, having previously held roles at Fellowes and BIC.

Philip became a Trustee of the Charity in June 2022, and has been a major advisor and contributor to its annual Charity Day since 2018.

Debbie has been involved in the office supplies industry for over 30 years and works in the merchandise team at the EVO Group.

Debbie has been a Charity Trustee since 2015 and currently holds the position of Honorary Treasurer.

Mike has spent over 60 years in our industry, starting out from school with WH Smith then Straker's and Ryman in London and also with manufacturers such as Faber Castell, Eldon Rubbermaid, Geographics and Smead.

He has been a Trustee of the Charity for more than 25 years!

Graeme first joined the industry in 1967.

He has been a Director with Acco and Kingfield Heath and wasd also  Chairman of Office Friendly .

He became a Trustee of the Charity in 2010 and was irs Chair from 2012 to 2021.

Frances has been involved in the Business Supplies industry for many years. She carried out a management buy-out of  Bedford-based Springfield Business Supplies in 1997 and has completed the acquisition of two other companies since then. She became a non-executive director of the BOSS Federation board in 2019.

Frances has been a Trustee of the Charity since 2010 and  also carries out an active fundraising and marketing role.

Sara Bennett
Sara's connection with the Business Supplies industry spans over 30 years. With a background in PR and marketing, including working in the not-for-profit sector. Sara is a member of the BOSS Business Supplies Charity marketing sub-committee helping to spread the word about the work of the charity and encourage fundraising.

Liz has been Secretary of the BOSS Charity since 2013 and was appointed as a Trustee in November 2020. She has worked at BOSS since 2010 as Administration Manager.

Jon is the Managing Director of Office Solutions Media and became a Trustee of the Charity in 2019.

James Webb

James has been within the industry for close to 30 years having joined Fellowes in 1997.  He has held a number of UK and international roles and is currently Vice President Central Europe and European Marketing. James became a Trustee of the Charity in April 2024
