Evening
The evening promises to be a wonderful experience, featuring excellent food, great entertainment with our guest speaker – Simon Brodkin – and the opportunity to connect with industry friends and colleagues who have supported our journey. But the fun doesn’t end there! Stick around for an unforgettable after-party with our industry’s own legend, Chris Exner, and his Bootleg Band.
Simon Brodkin
Acclaimed comedian and “the world’s most famous blagger” , Simon is fresh off a sold-out, critically acclaimed 120-date international tour with his latest show, Screwed Up. The show has been extended four times due to overwhelming demand, with an additional 20 dates added – including three sold out shows at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
Most recently Simon performed on the highly prestigious Royal Variety Performance, adding to his many television appearances including Live at the Apollo and Sunday Night at the Palladium, as well as his own documentary Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer on Channel 4.
Simon hit global headlines multiple times for his high-profile stunts, including handing Theresa May a P45 during her speech at the Conservative Party Conference, showering disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter with bank notes, crashing Donald Trump’s golf course opening, and going on Britain’s Got Talent as the ultra-orthodox Jewish rapper Steven Goldblatt – fooling Simon Cowell and the other judges to win four ‘yeses’. Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer was nominated for best Documentary at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Golden Nymph Awards 2018.
Recently, Simon broke records on TikTok with one of his videos reaching over 40 million views, making it the most viewed video by any British comedian ever.
Get ready to dance the night away with Chris Exner & the Bootleg Band! This talented group will be performing a high-energy set filled with classic rock hits and original songs. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy live music and support a great cause.
