BOSS Business Supplies Charity provides financial assistance to eligible people from the UK business supplies industry.
If your application is successful, our Grants Committee will decide the type and level of grant to be awarded based on your application.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT
What kind of help is available?
BBSC awards three types of grants:
One-off Grants
One-off grants are available for applicants who need financial help with a particular item or service.
You do not need to demonstrate that your monthly income falls short of your monthly expenses when applying for a one-off grant. However, you will need to show that you are unable to afford the cost of the item or service being requested.
Quarterly Grants
Quarterly grants are available to applicants whose monthly income does not meet their monthly expenses.
If your application is successful, the Grants Committee will decide the level of support to be awarded.
Personal Development, Re-Training and Education Grants
BBSC also provides grants towards personal development, re-training and education.
Applicants do not need to demonstrate that their monthly income falls short of their monthly expenses, but they must show that they are unable to afford the cost of the item or service being requested.
HOW SUPPORT IS DECIDED
Every application is considered by the BBSC Grants Committee.
If your application is successful, the Committee will decide the type and level of grant to be awarded.
Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that assistance will automatically be provided.
All information received by the charity is held and reviewed in the strictest confidence.
Other support
BBSC also signposts people towards other organisations for additional help with debt and money management.
This includes Christians Against Poverty and Citizens Advice.
