Who We Support
Support for people from the UK business supplies industry
BOSS Business Supplies Charity (BBSC) provides financial support to people who work, or have previously worked, within the UK business supplies industry.
To be considered for support, you must have worked within the industry for at least two years.
Who is eligible?
To be considered for support
Applicants must:
- – have worked in the UK business supplies industry for at least two years
- – complete an application form
- – provide three months of recent statements from all existing bank accounts
For some grants, applicants will also need to show that their monthly income does not meet their monthly expenses.
One-off and personal development grants do not require this, but applicants must demonstrate that they are unable to afford the item or service being requested.
What do we mean by the Business Supplies Industry?
BBSC supports people who have worked for businesses whose main activities are within the business supplies sector.
This includes companies primarily involved in:
- – stationery
- – cut office paper
- – office machines and supplies
- – office furniture
- – presentation and planning supplies
It can also include businesses such as vendors and wholesalers supplying other products through traditional business supplies reseller channels, as well as organisations working within the industry’s trade press or providing industry-specific business software.
Not sure if your experience qualifies?
If you’re unsure whether your current or previous employment falls within the business supplies industry, contact BBSC before applying.
Meeting the criteria
Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that financial assistance will be awarded.
Applications are considered individually by the BBSC Grants Committee.
